Botica is a culinary destination that celebrates the rich heritage of trade, travel and cultural exchange - where recipes and flavors have evolved and been refined over the centuries.<\/p>\n

Located in central Stockholm, Botica conveys the essence of Portuguese petiscos - small, shareable dishes - and creates a vibrant meeting place where friends can gather and enjoy meals prepared with high-quality, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has an open kitchen bar that encourages interaction between guests and chefs as they prepare dishes that combine authentic Iberian flavors with carefully selected Swedish products.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The experience is further enhanced by a dynamic wine bar with a curated selection of Portuguese wines and a pastry chef serving traditional Portuguese pastries - making Botica the perfect place for both quick visits and relaxing Portuguese coffee with friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

OUR CHALLENGE<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n

Botica's layout presented a unique challenge in creating the perfect sound environment. The restaurant has separate dining rooms, each with its own atmosphere, as well as bar areas that attract a varied clientele. One of the dining rooms posed a particular challenge due to its antique, decorative glass and metal ceiling. This eye-catching detail was visually impressive but created sound reflections that needed to be carefully managed to avoid harsh and overwhelming acoustic effects.<\/p>\n

The challenge was to deliver an audio experience that complemented the intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, while making it easy to have comfortable conversations - both at the bar and in the dining rooms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

OUR APPROACH<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n

To meet these challenges, Mood Nordic carefully designed and installed a high-quality Yamaha sound system<\/a> that harmonize with Botica's unique atmosphere. We chose white surface speakers that discreetly blend into the restaurant's Scandinavian decor, along with a subtle subwoofer that provides a rich and balanced sound. Special attention was paid to the dining room with its antique glass and metal ceiling, where we strategically placed the speakers and adjusted the sound settings to minimize reflections and create a warm, inviting sound experience.<\/p>\n

By introducing multiple volume zones, we were able to fine-tune the music in each area and create customized sound environments that enhance the ambiance without drowning out conversations. In addition, we developed a user-friendly streaming solution that allows the owner to play a customized playlist of Portuguese and international music, capturing the unique feel of Botica. Thanks to this approach, every guest, whether seated in the dining room or at the bar, gets the perfect sound balance and an overall experience of Botica's inviting atmosphere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
