THE CHALLENGE

As a rapidly expanding franchise with a focus on global consistency, Pandora aimed to ensure that every store offered the same ambiance and customer experience worldwide. However, before partnering with Mood, many of Pandora’s stores lacked uniformity in their music, leading to an inconsistent brand experience that didn’t fully capture the essence of their brand.

Additionally, Pandora sought to maintain a competitive edge by incorporating an innovative digital signage solution that could effectively showcase their products, drive sales, and enhance the overall in-store experience. This solution needed to encompass digital media players, software, content development, and ongoing support.

For Pandora, it was crucial to partner with an experienced provider offering comprehensive solutions, global reach, and professional installation. Mood delivered on all fronts, serving as the single-source provider Pandora needed to elevate their in-store experience across all locations.

THE APPROACH

To achieve this, the Mood team engaged with Pandora to gain an in-depth understanding of their brand personality, key business objectives, target audience, and desired in-store experience. Armed with these insights, a dedicated Music Designer from Mood worked closely with Pandora to craft custom music programs that perfectly reflected Pandora’s chic and welcoming spirit.

Next, Mood’s visual experts developed captivating digital signage solutions, complemented by interactive tablet stations designed to further immerse customers in the Pandora brand experience. This comprehensive approach ensured that every Pandora store, regardless of location, delivered a consistent and engaging atmosphere that resonated with customers.

THE SOLUTION

MUSIC

Pandora’s in-store music experience features two custom-curated programs, meticulously crafted on a track-by-track basis. These programs blend modern pop with classic vocal jazz, producing a vibrant and luxurious sound that embodies the essence of Pandora Jewelry. The music creates a gentle yet uplifting ambiance, perfectly aligning with Pandora’s brand.

The programs are refreshed every 60 days via Ethernet, ensuring the music remains current and resonates with customer preferences. All tracks are fully licensed and screened for business use, with Mood’s global licensing experts handling the procurement of international commercial music rights.

SOUND SYSTEMS

To amplify the in-store experience, Pandora partnered with Mood for professional sound system design, equipment, and installation. The audio setup features top-tier equipment from renowned brands like Bose and Lowell, with Mood’s certified AV experts ensuring an optimal sound experience tailored to each store’s layout.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

To enhance customer engagement, Mood developed and deployed the following digital signage solutions:

ICON Frame: Utilizing commercial-grade 85” and 32” Samsung screens, this eye-catching digital signage display highlights seasonal and promotional products with stunning detail, enhanced by dynamic motion graphics and videography. All content is crafted by Mood’s in-house visual designers, and the hardware is expertly installed by local Mood technicians.

Craftsmanship Tablet Displays: These interactive tablet stations allow customers to explore Pandora’s brand story, with videos showcasing the intricate craftsmanship behind Pandora Jewelry. Each station is paired with Klipsch over-ear headphones, offering an immersive audiovisual experience that deepens customer engagement with the brand.

THE RESULTS
