To elevate its showrooms in select European cities, Lotus partnered with Mood to create immersive brand experiences. These centers use cutting-edge audiovisual concepts that reflect Lotus craftsmanship and invite customers to explore the brand's heritage in an engaging and dynamic environment.
Mood Nordic delivered this experience at the highest level for the showroom in Oslo, Norway.

Lotus, a legendary British car manufacturer founded in 1948, is known for its lightweight, high-performance sports cars and innovative engineering. Over the decades, Lotus has built a reputation for creating vehicles that excel both on the road and on the race track - with precision handling and elegant design. Lotus Oslo, as part of the exclusive brand center launch in Europe, captures this spirit by offering an immersive showroom experience. With state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions, the showroom invites visitors to explore Lotus' rich heritage, craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies that define the brand.
OUR CHALLENGE
Mood Nordic was commissioned to transform the Lotus showroom in Oslo into a state-of-the-art brand experience center. The main challenge was to create an immersive and engaging environment that not only showcased Lotus vehicles, but also conveyed the brand's innovative and luxurious identity in depth.
The existing showroom was functional but lacked the dynamic elements required to highlight the sophistication and performance of Lotus vehicles. The goal was to redesign the space to offer an interactive and memorable experience that captivates visitors and reflects Lotus' commitment to world-class quality.
OUR APPROACH
To meet these challenges, Mood Nordic implemented a multi-pronged approach that combined advanced technology with creative design. Our approach focused on three main areas: creating immersive content, designing engaging physical environments and integrating the latest technologies.
Immersive Content Creation:
- Hero Wall: We designed a prominent LED wall and ceiling installation that starts the customer journey right outside the showroom. It displays engaging content that highlights Lotus flagship models and draws visitors into the experience center.
- Entrance projection: A static projection of the Lotus logo on the floor welcomes visitors and instantly deepens the sense of the brand upon entry.
- Wayfinder: A UHD portrait screen with looped content welcomes customers and guides them through the experience center.
Innovative Physical Design:
- Screen arrays: We integrated three-dimensional LED walls and large screens to create an intimate driving experience and give more visitors the opportunity for extended viewing in the showroom.
- Silent Sales Person: At each car, a 24-inch display presents detailed information about the model, increasing customer engagement without disturbing the environment.
- Bar wall: A display array shows future models and relevant content, keeping visitors informed and engaged about upcoming launches.
Interactive Technology:
- Configurator computers: Interactive displays allow customers to configure their dream Lotus car, creating a personalized and engaging experience.
- Partner Screen: Activates when an RC model is lifted, showing the story and journey of the selected car model.
- Future Ready: An interactive touchscreen gives a taste of Lotus' future innovations and engages customers with upcoming news.
- Configurator Wall: A 110-inch LCD screen connected to the Car Configurator PC offers a dynamic, personalized experience for detailed car configuration.
- Configuration display: A 43-inch touchscreen built into the table allows customers or staff to configure cars in real time.
- Definition Wall: Three portrait screens powered by the Car Configurator display detailed information about the materials and craftsmanship of Lotus vehicles.
Audio experience: A balanced and clear sound of background music is experienced throughout the store thanks to strategically placed speakers, creating a dynamic sound environment that complements the visual elements.
Fragrance experience: To complete the sensory experience, a unique fragrance has been introduced in the showroom, creating a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere that evokes emotional connection from the very first step in.
THE OUTCOME
The transformation of the Lotus showroom in Oslo has produced outstanding results. The immersive and interactive elements have significantly increased customer engagement and time spent at the point of sale. Visitors are more engaged and feel a stronger connection to the Lotus brand thanks to the innovative displays and personalized content.
The showroom's new design has further strengthened Lotus' position as a leader in innovation and luxury. The integration of advanced technology and engaging design has enhanced the brand's presence and appeal. Both customers and Lotus representatives have given very positive feedback about the new showroom. The engaging features and interactive elements receive high marks for creating a memorable and powerful brand experience.
